Yes, there's more. A fine selection of bomba artists are also creative and even successful entrepreneurial animators. Their work can be seen on the web through their Youtube channels, but locally these animations are used extensively in television commercials, animated shorts in comedy shows, and even corporate communications.
The first animation studio in Puerto Rico, Animación Boricua, developed the first unintentionally bomba animated short films, "Filminutos", and other coloful stories like "Las plumas del múcaro", where young artist Reynaldo León (León Animation Studio) learned the trade.
Other artists, like J.H. Vazz (Vazz Toons), Dave Álvarez, and many others, took on animation -by themselves or with help- after masterfully conquering the heights of comicdom.
